"I suppose you could say that everyone has an El Guapo. For some, shyness may be an El Guapo. For others, lack of education may be an El Guapo. But for us, El Guapo is a large ugly man who wants to kill us." -- Three Amigos
Abe Vigoda Yes, it's been awhile...punctuality is our El Guapo. But we're still working! Current status: VIGODA.

PIMP MY RIDES
I apologize to the good people of Brooklyn, but due to our map size we had to move Coney Island up to the Brooklyn Heights area. I know, it's a travesty. But giant monsters need amusement parks to destroy, and I'm not gonna tell a giant robot he can't get on the roller coaster (and when he gets on the roller coaster, he really gets on the roller coaster). Behold some of the hypnotic tiny rides (click to see the animation - I didn't want to make everyone GIFsick):

BoooOOOOOooo! There goes my lunch. Wheee Cream and sugar with that? Bueller? Bueller?
That big skull on top of the Spook-O-Rama comes off, and you can kick it around and stuff.
People go flying off the rides when the monster smashes into them. Whee!

We've made some decisions regarding time periods/eras in the game. It's going to ship with WWII-era Los Angeles, 1920s Chicago, and Jet Age(50's - 60s) Custer's Tibia. The other cities (San Francisco, D.C., Seattle) will remain Modern Era. This way you'll get the gameplay variety of destroying historic cities with period weaponry and vehicles -- without us taking eight thousand more years to make every city in every era. We have an exciting new unit to tell you about, too, but we aren't going to show you our unit just yet. You at least could buy us dinner first. Sheesh.

BUG OF THE MONTH: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO
What happens: tiny people get thrown much too far from an explosion. They hit the edge of the game world and get stuck midair, flypaper-style, tumbling head over heels. They can't fall to the ground, so they just spin in place. It kinda looks like they're breakdancing. Check out the sweet, sweet moves on that guy in the middle (note: those army men at top left are getting de-rezzed by the UFO).
