We're back from Comic-Con. Wooo, that was fun. Met Forrest Ackerman. Saw Ray Harryhausen. Saw way too many people dressed as Stormtroopers. Discovered some artists who also dig robots and monsters, like Joshua Ellingson (check out his wicked Godzilla pic) and Mike Sosnowzki. We gave out a whole lotta postcards and buttons, so a great big hello to anyone stopping by who took the time to type in our little URL. Some of you were wondering whether we're going to sell any of the t-shirts. I'm thinking about it, but since they are handmade, they take a good bit of time to make (and, er, we really need to get the screen press out of the living room). But do email and let me know which design you like best, and if there's some consensus, we'll see if we can make some of that style available.
So we're back to work. Gas mains under city streets have been implemented, as well as land and underwater mines. There's little Tech F/X about how monsters throw stuff. And why they throw stuff. And what they can throw. And how cool it is when they throw a bus and it bounces and smushes a whole crowd of tiny people. Yes, we're sick.
BUG OF THE MONTH: THE DANCING WATERS
When a fire hydrant is knocked over, it will remain bouncing up and down on the water flow, instead of just landing on the ground somewhere nearby. It's kinda Looney-Tunes:
Yes, it's been awhile...punctuality is our El Guapo. But we're still working! Current status: VIGODA.
